Hello
I’m a counsellor with a passion for helping high-performing professionals and business owners navigate the emotional and relational challenges that impact their personal lives and leadership. With a background in journalism and counselling, I bring curiosity, empathy, and strategic insight to guide clients through imposter syndrome, relationship breakdowns, and identity shifts. Nothing shocks me—joy often emerges through the hardest conversations.
My Story
I began my professional journey as a journalist, earning a Bachelor of Journalism and working across newspapers, magazines, and radio. I interviewed remarkable individuals along the way, and my natural curiosity often led to deep and enlightening conversations. For five years, I also chaired the board of a thriving community radio station in Sydney. This role taught me how to truly listen to the voices of men and women, seeking connection and a sense of belonging.
Eventually, I took the skills I’d honed—curiosity, active listening, and intuition—and transitioned into counselling
psychotherapy. I hold a Master’s in Counselling from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Diploma in Holistic Counselling from the Metavision Institute. My lived experiences spanning four continents, corporate and self-managed businesses, coaching, and speaking engagements further shape my approach.
I am a mother to an adored son, an animal lover, and a straight-talking, no-nonsense counsellor with a knack for seeing the humour in life’s quirks. Listening to life stories is my passion, and I am deeply committed to every client who walks through my door. Above all, I view it as an extraordinary gift to be of service—to be chosen to help others.
Nothing shocks me. I believe that joy is often found through tears, and I am here to walk alongside my clients as they discover their paths to healing and growth.

If I consider what the most interesting thing about me is, it’s that I genuinely love what I do. People often ask how I work with so many individuals in emotional pain or facing life’s challenges. My answer is simple: the real heroes are the people sitting with me—they are the ones who will change their lives. That process is both exciting and hopeful. My empathy extends to those who never make it to a counsellor’s chair. The ones who can’t envision what life might look like on the other side of the looking glass.
